My Granddogs

We call Ellie our "city dog".  But she does love spending time with her country cousins.  Ellie stays with us when Noah, Amy, and Abe go on vacation or when it is grooming Saturday.  Joe picks her up on Fridays and brings her down to the farm where her favorite thing to do is run outside and bark at our big picture window in the library.
Ellie sleeps on a pillow between our heads and gets along so well with our tribe of four.
Ellie is well loved and is also known as Mudder as well as several other nicknames.
Don't ask...

And then there is Abby...Brooke and Scott's beloved dog.
She is older and needed a home and really helped Brooke through the transition from our home to her new home with Scott.  Living without a dog was unthinkable as far as Brooke was concerned and Abby came to her at just the right time.
We are still in the process of socializing her with our dogs.  Abby is as sweet as they come and hopefully she will blend right in sooner rather than later.
I visit with her on Brooke and Scott's long days and she loves being outside and watching the comings and goings of the neighbors.

I love my granddogs and how they make my own children and grandchild so happy...

  1. Lovely to meet your 'granddogs' All families need dogs I think - they really make a home and a family special.
