Abe Moments

Grandpa Joe and Abe were playing "Undercover Agents" and as you can see, were totally mesmerized by the show they were watching...which was "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood".

I gave Noah Albert the Bear many years ago...and now he belongs to Abe.

It looks like Albert the Bear is in very good hands.

Beautiful But Dangerous

Joe and I visited Lake Erie last weekend and watched two people fall through the ice.
We must respect Mother Nature.

Sunday With Abe

Joe and I traveled up to Cleveland to spend the afternoon with Noah, Amy, and of course...Abe!
Joe took Abe "bowling" after lunch.
Look at that form!

Abe caught on right away and his balls...for the most part...went straight down the middle!

We loved watching Abe cheer his bowling ball down the lane...

 STRIKE!!!

Amy joined in on the fun...

Back home...
Abe is very good at multi-tasking!

Abe and I played with his Valentine Train while Amy did a bit of shopping and worked out at the Y.  Noah and Joe were busy doing electrical work in Abe's room, which is being totally redecorated.

Joe put in a switch...with a dimmer...for Abe's track lighting for his art corner.  My talented husband also added an electrical outlet.
That man can do anything!

Abe thanked his Grandpa Joe for all his hard work.
Abe was extremely interested in Joe's tools and wanted to know their names and what they were used for.
It looks like Joe will have an apprentice very soon!

~It was the best of days~

Catching Up With Abe

This is a good bath day.  Abe is not always enjoying this time of day as of late.  He's just too busy!

Abe loves milk...his drink of choice.

Abe had a bit of a collision with a shelf and one of his front teeth got pushed back into his gum.  My grandson bravely visited two dentists and they are hopeful the tooth will drop within a month.
Noah and Amy were much more upset about the incident than Abe.  He took it in his own little stride...even with the proclamation his NUK days were officially over.
He is simply the best...

Abe visited his neighborhood library and wanted books on farms and elephants.
I love a boy who knows what he wants!

The Best Get Well Card

Joe and I got hit with the WORST flu bug ever!  I am just starting to feel like myself after TWO WEEKS...
Abe's smiling face made my couch time almost bearable.  He is just the best!

More Than a Job

My son teaches in the inner city and has many administrative duties as well.
I look forward to his daily call and a quick review of how his day went.
Noah never ceases to amaze me with his compassion for each and every one of his students.
He is truly using his God given talents...

Winter Projects

I am in the process of painting and decorating our kitchen cabinets.
I also made a little Tea Town background.

I am having fun combining journaling with art projects.

 Art from the heart...

So many fun things to make...

I also touched up some of my Window Art pieces.

This is my January Board...

I love painting, but it is tremendously time consuming.  I am glad my Hittyville Friends have much to occupy themselves with!

Waiting for David

David will be joining our goat family when he is ready to leave his mother.
He is SO cute!

In the meantime...
Joe decided to work on some additional play space for our friends.

Danny was quite appreciative!
Thank you, dear Joe...
