Today, Joe and I were supposed to spend some time with Abe because Noah was treating Amy to a Birthday Brunch and a trip to The Cleveland Museum of Art.
I had all kinds of plans for making Reindeer Food, edible Christmas Trees, etc.
And then...
Noah called early this morning to tell us Cleveland had been hit hard by ice and snow was in the forecast...and to be on the safe side, my caring son suggested we stay home and not risk life and limb to travel north.
So...that is what we did.
Joe purchased some new calcium salt for around the house and will continue to use the rock salt on our driveway. We have ice too, but not as bad.
Mother Nature has a way of changing human plans...
Thank goodness we will see everyone on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
