A Hittyville Adventure...The WellieWishers Come to Hittyville Part 2

Aunt Miranda has asked her longtime beau, Uncle Joe, to help her with an idea she has.

Her five little girls are growing up fast and they need a place of their own to pursue all their interests and talents.
Aunt Miranda thinks this might be just the spot for a Playhouse.

Uncle Joe loves the girls as if they were his own and completely agrees with Aunt Miranda.
A Playhouse is already building itself in his mind!

A week later...
Aunt Miranda's heart is filled with gratitude and love for Uncle Joe.
The Playhouse is perfect and the girls will love decorating the inside and adding all of their touches to the outside.
Uncle Joe believes the little bunny has adopted the Playhouse as her own!

A bit later...
The five WellieWishers are beyond excited and thrilled with their new Playhouse!
Aunt Miranda and Uncle Joe are simply the best...

Each one of the girls is deep in thought about all the possibilities of adventure this Playhouse brings!

Willa has formally adopted "Carrot" and has been given the green light by Aunt Miranda to have as many pets as she can lovingly take care of.

Uncle Joe has offered to make an ocean/pond for Camille.  It is a dream come true for this sweet WellieWisher.  But first, Camille wants to compose a thank you letter to her beloved Aunt Miranda and Uncle Joe on behalf of all her Sister-Friends.

Kendall is in Creative Heaven.  The WellieWishers have put her in charge of decorating their new Playhouse.
She can't wait to get started!

Ashlyn is in her party planning mode.
There just has to be a "Welcome to the Playhouse" event!
Where is her Party Planner Notebook?

And last but not least...
Emerson is creating a Playhouse Play in her busy imagination.
After all, didn't Shakespeare write...
"The play's the thing."

It was the best of days for the WellieWishers with many more to come!

A Hittyville Adventure...The WellieWishers Come to Hittyville Part 1

Six years ago, Aunt Miranda was taking a walk in Hittyville Park and came across a boat in the pond.  Tucked away inside the little boat were five sweet sleeping babies with a note attached to each one's blanket.
The notes indicated whoever found these treasures...with names embroidered on each of their blankets...would from that day forward be their loving and caring guardian.
Aunt Miranda did indeed take the five darlings into her care and spent months trying to find their parents.  It was finally decided by all the Hittyville Friends that Aunt Miranda WellieWisher would be their forever Aunt.

And now...
Camille, Kendall, Willa, Ashlyn, and Emerson are the best of Sister-Friends, as they call themselves, and are enjoying the most wonderful of childhoods!

But...
The WellieWisher Family Cottage is a bit small now that the girls are older and Aunt Miranda thinks it's time for them to have a special Playhouse of their very own!

That Joe

Look what Joe found in the middle of a busy road yesterday?
This boat will be perfect for my WellieWishers!
Thank you, brave and daring Joe!

Joe is installing new windows in much of our house.
Even though our home is air conditioned, we still need units in my art and journaling rooms.
This very old farmhouse is short on vents...
Thank you, Joe!

Abe and Elliott Time

Kristen invited Amy and Abe over to Kate's for a morning playtime with Elliott.  Travis, Kristen, and Elliott live in California, so together time is very special.
Kate is the best cook and her french toast casserole was a big hit...even with the horse friends!

The boys continued their "Scary Dinosaur" game from the day before and just loved being growled at by Nana and the mother dinosaurs...

Amy does a great dinosaur impression!

Abe wanted to be scared one more time...

Hiding from those big, mean, scary dinosaurs!

And then...
The boys decided to play "Yelling While Going Up and Down the Stairs".

Time for a rest and drink break!

A bit later...
Abe and Elliott ended their playtime with some outside fun.
