Michael, Hitty Daisy, and Mayor Hitty had a delightful teatime at Sadie's Tea Room.
Mayor Hitty has a big favor to ask her Friends.
Mayor Hitty has been aware of the fact Hitty Daisy is interested in adopting a child and there are FIVE children at the Convent who desperately need homes.
Mayor Hitty was wondering if Hitty Daisy...and Michael...might meet the children at the Community Park just as a favor to her.
A bit later...
Hitty Daisy is wondering how she could ever choose between these five precious youngsters.
And then...
Michael had thought to bring some cupcakes from Sadie's Tea Room and the happy group enjoyed a late afternoon snack.
Meanwhile...
Sister Hitty Louise asks Mayor Hitty if she is hoping for what she herself is hoping for.
Mayor Hitty just smiled.
Later at Hitty Daisy's homestead site...
Michael thought Hitty Daisy's little Pleasant Hill Lake would be the perfect spot to have a talk about their day.
Hitty Daisy shared with Michael how she wished she could adopt all the children as her own, but knows it would be a huge undertaking for her alone.
Michael suggests she wouldn't have to raise the children alone.
He was going to ask Hitty Daisy this important question anyway and thinks this would be as good a time as any to ask it...
