A Magical Meeting

Mother Hitty Maria invited Hitty Daisy on a tour of the new Hittyville Convent.
She also invited Michael Morrison, who is doing an article on the Convent for The Hittyville Gazette.

The first room the trio...along with Goldie...visited was for the Sisters who create Prayer Blankets and Shawls.
Hitty Daisy thought the handwork was exquisite!

Sister Hitty Gloria and Sister Hitty Emily publish the Hittyville Convent Newsletter.
Michael was very impressed with the Sisters professionalism.

Hitty Daisy loved The Prayer Candle and Cross Studio.

Hitty Daisy ordered a beautiful wooden cross on the spot.
Michael did as well.

The Quilt Workshop captured Hitty Daisy's heart.
She signed up for a quilting class.  Hitty Daisy wants
at least one quilt wall hanging in her new homestead.

Hitty Daisy was so happy to meet Sister Becassine, Mother Hitty Maria's assistant.
The Gathering Room is a place where the Sisters socialize when they are not busy working on their projects.

The Convent Kitchen was huge and considering all the Friends the Sisters feed, just perfect.

Hitty Daisy told Michael she is building a homestead and would need a kitchen MUCH smaller than this one.
Michael shared he never cooks because of his busy schedule at the newspaper and television station.

The Hittyville Food Bank helps feed those Friends in need.

Hitty Daisy offered to volunteer at the Food Bank.  Sister Hitty Maud joyfully accepted her help and the Friends made plans to get together soon to discuss a schedule.

Michael thinks Hitty Daisy is a special Friend, indeed.

The Convent Flower Shop creates and delivers floral arrangements for Hittyville Friends who are celebrating and recovering.
Hitty Daisy ordered a bouquet for her good Friend and future neighbor, Aunt Hitty Rose.

The Sisters of the Hittyville Convent have taken over the running of The Hittyville Cafe.  Granny Pickle wanted more time with her goats and beehives.
Mother Hitty Maria is sorry she is unable to finish the tour, but suggests Michael and Hitty Daisy continue without her...AFTER a cup of coffee at The Cafe.

Michael and Hitty Daisy find they have much to talk about.
They both feel as though they have known each other forever.

Michael wonders if Hitty Daisy might join him for dinner after their tour.

Hitty Daisy happily accepted Michael's invitation and suddenly felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach.
Hmm...
