Daisy Finds a New Home

Daisy and Gypsy simply do not get along.
The fact they were sitting on the same chair had to be documented with a picture.
Last week the two rascals got into THREE fights.
Their antagonism toward one another had escalated to an unacceptable level.

Daisy also had a problem with the cats.  She was constantly stalking, chasing, and barking at them to a point of distraction.
Joe and I have raised many dogs and have been able to train them to behave, but Daisy was the exception.
When she was good, she was very good...but when she was bad, she was awful!

We needed a plan and we were so fortunate Brooke and Scott wanted her with all their hearts.
We just crossed our fingers Daisy and Abby would get along.

Later at Brooke and Scott's house...
Joe and Scott got to work putting a little fence around their deck to keep the dogs and critters out.

Success!

Joe put up a new spotlight so Brooke and Scott can keep track of their dogs in the evening.

Later...
Daisy has adjusted to her new home beyond our expectations...but then, she did live with Brooke for 5 years.
Actually, Daisy has adopted Scott as her "special human".

Back on the farm...
There is a new sense of calm in our house.
This is the first time we ever saw Gypsy rest her head on Tibs.
The anxiety level between the dogs is 100% gone.
Gypsy, Pixie, and Tibs are very companionable.
And as for the cats...
Chloe, Rosie, and Malley are roaming around without the fear of being chased.

It was the best of decisions...for EVERYONE!

Thank you, Brooke and Scott, for making this all possible.
