On This Day in 1934
On April 19, 1934, Shirley Temple appeared in her first movie, "Stand Up and Cheer".
I very nearly bought a Shirley Temple doll while in NZ - she was gorgeous but the lady who had the shop seemed reluctant (or rather completely incompetent) at coming up with a price!
