A VERY Busy Saturday

Joe, Brooke, and I met Cassi and Pat at Kate's apartment bright and early to help her move a few things over to her new townhouse.
The official moving day is next Saturday, but Kate wanted to get a head start!

Pat and Joe are experienced "movers".

Cassi has been helping Kate move odds and ends all week.

 Almost done.

At the Enchanted Cottage...
Kate's living room has the most beautiful flooring and then there is that fireplace.
She is planning on having bookshelves built on either side of the fireplace.

Upstairs...
The master bedroom also has a working fireplace!

This so reminds me of the room Cassi and I shared as teenagers.
A door and...

A deck!
Kate is one happy homeowner...

Kate really loves this room close to her own bedroom.
She is thinking about creating a little living room area which will be perfect for Travis, Kristen, and Elliott when they visit!

Kate hasn't had a yard in ages and Cassi has some great gardening ideas.
Kate has much of the area planned out and can't wait to enjoy time in her future Paradise.

I think the backyard entrance has so much potential.
I can't wait to see what Kate does with it!

And then...
Noah, Amy, and Abe met us at the Rustic for lunch.  I still can't believe the THIRD generation is now part of the Rustic experience!

After lunch, we parted ways with the movers, and Joe, Brooke, Amy, and I headed to Crocker-Park for some shopping.

Later...
Brooke and Abe played together while Noah and Amy got ready to attend their friend's last Cleveland dance performance.
We love watching Abe when Noah and Amy go out!

Abe and Joe waved goodbye to Noah and Amy and continued do some car watching from Abe's favorite window.
Ellie likes the window seat as well!

Abe loves his Grandpa Joe...and Grandpa Joe loves his Abe.

Time to play "Garage Hats" with Oma...

Today, we decided to go to the Queen's Tea Party.

 Later...
It is way past Abe's bedtime...That boy fights sleep just like his Auntie Brooke and father did!

Finally!  Time to take him up to bed...

It was the best of days.
