A Glorious Fourth of July

July 4, 2015
Noah and Amy hosted their first family party in their beautiful home.
It was a glorious occasion and had the feel of the past, but was very much rooted in today!

Noah and Amy have done so much to their home in the past year.
Everything looks incredible!

Abe is a lucky boy to have such a great backyard to play in!

Noah just restored and painted his garage "man door".

Amy decorated the Cabana House with some pretty flowers.

Noah and Joe prepared the new grill for the party.

Looking good...

Joe moved the TV up on the mantle and "strapped" it to the wall.

Abe showed me his new African Friends.

Brooke was Noah's right hand woman in the kitchen.
Amy was busy with last minute preparations and then the hostessing, of course!

I take no credit for Noah's amazing culinary skills.

And then...
 Let the fun begin!

Everyone enjoys a game of Cornhole...

 The kids loved the pool.

Baby Brianna was so sweet and pretty in pink.
Cassi took this picture of her granddaughter in our mom's very old wooden salad bowl!

Father and son...my brother and nephew...grilling away.

An old-fashioned family get together...the best!

Chef Noah doing a last minute check of his table.

One chef to another...
I am sorry I did not get a picture of Cassi's delicious desserts.
Thank you, Sister!

After the party...
Grandpa Joe gave Abe his very first can of pop...and Abe savored every sip!

Look at that orange mustache!
Brooke and Amy loved the look...

Time to pack up our car.
Abe is always eager to help his Grandpa Joe!

 What a team!

 I love watching these two...

Abe was intrigued with the discarded ice from the coolers.

 Future ice skater?

My heart was so happy watching my beloved children work together in the kitchen.  Teamwork!

And this is what holidays are all about...
FAMILY!

~It was the VERY best of days~

Thank you, Brooke and Kate, for contributing pictures!
