Abe's January So Far

We ushered in 2017 at Noah, Amy, and Abe's home with a DELICIOUS pork roast dinner.
Joe and I agreed it was the best New Year's meal we have ever enjoyed!

After dinner, we played a game of Elefun...

We then checked out Noah's Xbox farming game.  Abe was intrigued.
Watch out, Noah!

Abe was in the measuring mode.

Things wound down and Abe wanted to watch one of his British cartoons, Sarah & Duck.
I didn't take many pictures because Abe was in a "I don't want my picture taken mood" which I completely understood.
Brooke never wanted her picture taken and now wonders why there aren't more pictures of her as a child!

Ellie, on the other hand, loved having her picture taken and happily posed for the camera.

We had a wonderful time and it was the best way to start a new year!
Thank you, Noah and Amy.

Two weeks later...
It was Dog Grooming Day, so Noah's little family journeyed down to Betsy's where all 6 dogs...including Scott and Brooke's Abby...get groomed in one big group and we humans have lunch together.
Our restaurant wasn't open yet, so we went to Wal*Mart and told Abe he could pick out a present.  He chose a Safari Animal set in record time.

As you can see, Abe is still not wanting his picture taken.

This is the best game ever.  For one dollar you play until you win a duck.
Abe wound up with SEVEN ducks!

Back at the farm, Abe played away in the revamped Hittyville and had a ball!
It makes my heart so happy to see how much Abe loves Hittyville.

~We had the best of times~

Noah and Amy send me pictures now and then of Abe and his activities and I really appreciate that!
Helping Daddy...Abe is always learning how to use household tools!

Abe loves playing Animal Train.
Such a joyful boy!

~Loving my grandson~

  1. Happy New Year Vicki! Looks like you had a lovely meal. Laughing at Abe hiding behind the sauce bottle. We have very few photos of our younger son as he too hates having his photo taken. I am sure Abe just wanted a break, he usually seems very photogenic. It is wonderful he has Hittyville to enjoy. Are we going to get to see the revamped Hittyville please?

    1. Happy New Year to you, dear Lorraine! It is such a joy to share Hittyville with Abe...and he so respects the space! I am still happy creating Hittyville stories in my journals, but am still deciding about the blogging. I just feel so artistically free at the moment. I will tell you that Hitty June has joined The Hittyville Convent...non-denominational...and is now known as Sister Hitty June. Her calling is the Assistant Caretaker of Adventure Land and she is VERY happy!
