Joe and I spent most of Saturday and Sunday with Abe...and Noah and Amy. Joe and Noah had a bunch of projects to attend to and Abe turned out to be their quite able helper!
Joe explained every step of each project and Abe paid serious attention.
We did manage to do a craft together...
I love the progress Noah and Amy have made making this lovely old home their own.
Abe and Ellie serenaded us with a lovely original tune.
On Sunday...
Brooke, Amy, and I attended a baby shower for my niece Lindsay's fourth child. John Peter will be arriving sometime in February.
Beautiful Theresa will remain the only daughter.
It was so nice meeting new people and catching up with family.
On Monday...
Abe was clearly worn out from his busy weekend! He helped install a new storm door, remove and install a new fan/light complete with a dimmer/speed remote control, assemble a king size bed, and then there was some very active playtime...
It warms my heart to see how much Abe and Ellie love and trust each other.
There is nothing more beautiful than watching a child sleep so peacefully...
~It was the best of jam packed weekends~
