On Saturday, Joe, Brooke, Scott, and I met Noah, Amy, and Abe at Cleveland's wonderful Natural History Museum.
There is a major renovation in the works and this is a rendering of what looks like a fantastic new and improved museum!
Abe was ready to start his adventure...
Joe loves this exhibit of Earth's orbit.
Abe liked watching the moving "ball".
Abe and Brooke discussed what animals they were observing.
The dioramas really held Abe's attention.
Abe came back to this elephant several times.
That boy is in constant motion...
This picture perfectly captures Abe's head movement! He would look at the dinosaurs and then turn back to his family and point to make sure we were looking too!
Everything interested Abe...
Abe enjoyed watching the coyote "dog".
We backtracked to the polar bear because Abe wanted to visit the "white bear" again.
Outdoors...
We were all taken in by the captivating river otters.
Abe stood there for the longest time.
And then...
Abe became a rock climber.
I think Grandpa Joe was telling Abe a funny story.
I am so happy Abe appreciates Joe's wacky sense of humor.
Such a joyful soul.
The best mom and dad in the Universe!
Finally...
We told Abe to choose a present and he went directly to the Dinosaur Truck.
And that is all he wanted!
I feel so blessed to be part of Abe's adventures. Watching his little being absorb all these new experiences makes me the happiest of grandmothers.
~It was definitely the best of days~
