The Hittyville Girls Meet The American Girls

Bella, Getta, and Faith have a BIG surprise for their daughters.
An American Girl Doll Store has opened about an hour away and the moms thought it would be the perfect place to spend a day.
Poppy, Vicki, and Sophie are THRILLED!

Getta offers to drive everyone in her large family van tomorrow and the happy group decide to leave at 10:00 AM sharp.

The next day...
The Hittyville Friends agree there is nothing quite as much fun as adopting a new Doll Friend.

The girls enjoyed their lunch at the American Girl Bistro and are now eager to go doll shopping!

 Let the fun begin!!!

Back in Hittyville at the Merry Family Homestead...
The Friends LOVE their special American Girls.

Sophie chose Anne because of her red hair and named her after her favorite book character, Anne of Green Gables.

Vicki thought Betsy was the most beautiful doll in the entire store.

Poppy just had to have Grace because her character spent time in Paris, France and that is where her mother is from...and Poppy visited there as well.

Meanwhile...
Poppy's beloved brothers, Harry and Simon, have created a little French Pastry Shop for their sister's doll!

It was the very best of days for three Hittyville Girls.

Amazing Abe

Abe is loving elephants these days and was enthralled with the little finger puppet Missy sent his way...along with many others!
Thank you, Missy.

Rain will never dampen this child's spirit!

Abe has been going on elephant "hunts" in the neighborhood park.

Aha...It looks like he spotted one!
I am so grateful for Abe's unbelievable imagination.
He is blessed to have parents who foster his creative play!

Abe's front tooth survived his fall last month and really...Have you ever seen anyone look so happy in the dentist's chair?
Abe loves his pretty dentist.

Our Golden Boy loves life and embraces each and every experience.

A little child totally in sync with Nature...
As the sun sets, Abe joins in the daily ritual.
A moment to be cherished...forever.

February...Finally

Yay!!!  My February Board is finished...
On to March which I hope to complete by at least the end of the month!

Catching Some Spare TIme

Joe is always busy!  He works hard all day...thank goodness he likes his job...and then comes home to the farm and me!
There is sometimes a window of time where he can work on Legos and lately his world has been all about Star Wars!
Looking good, dear husband...

Teamwork

I chose the puzzle, Joe put it together, and I painted the canvas and embellished it a bit with buttons.
Thank you, Joe!
